Proposition 65 Warning Label

T.Z. Case is based in California and therefore, as required by state law, we must include a Prop 65 warning label with each of our products.

You need not be concerned by this. Our products are safe and you may use them with confidence. Prop 65 is designed to make you aware and in no way states or even implies that a product is unsafe.

Prop 65, formally known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986, is designed to make consumers aware of chemicals that may have been used in the manufacture of products they purchase. The list consists of over 800 naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals that are known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This does not mean that you are at risk merely by using or coming into contact with a product that may contain a chemical on the list.

Just about everything we see, touch or eat in our daily lives has come into contact with chemicals. So, not only will you see the Prop 65 label on products that ship from and into California, you will see Prop 65 notices posted just about everywhere in the state, from retail outlets and convenience stores to your favorite neighborhood restaurant.
